No.1: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion – The best RPG (Role Playing Game), not only on the Xbox 360, but the best RPG across all consoles of all time –ever! ‘Oblivion’ has a staggeringly large environment to explore along with multi-layered, choice based quests and side-quests, which afford this game epic re-playability. This will remain the best Xbox 360 game until the next Elder Scrolls installment.
No.2: Grand Theft Auto 4 – ‘Grand Theft Auto’ is the most successful series ever to utilise the ‘sandbox’ style gaming environment, where players have the freedom to roam an environment and perform actions outside the main story thread. This 4th installment in the series is by far the grittiest and least glamorous depiction of the criminal underbelly of American society, and for that reason it is the best gaming experience of the four. At times you may feel more like you are watching a Martin Scorcese film than playing an Xbox game, but this only draws you in deeper.
