It’s the game which has been four years in the making; the 2010 Official Formula One video game is finally here. The creators, Codemasters, have created an all inspiring realistic gaming experience which takes you on an adventure into the life of a F1 driver. The Official Xbox Magazine has called it ‘brilliant’ and in my opinion it is the best F1 game for many years. But is it such a classic as it is so hyped up to be?
Getting Started
Your first job is to decide which of the new teams you want to be and how many seasons you want to take part in, you can chose three, five or seven. Then you are taken to a press conference where you tell them your name and give them information about yourself. Now you are ready to get behind the wheel of a Formula One car.
You are introduced to the Paddock where you can choose Career, Grand Prix, Time Trial, Multiplayer or My F1, to continue your adventure with the team you have chose you select Career. Here you enter the driver’s room where your personal and slightly attractive agent will be waiting for you.
